First 2 weeks back in Malaysia

Its been quite a while.
Having this hot weather 24/7, doing house chores and watching the store.
My mum decided to not hire a maid for now.
The maid that we had before is from Cambodia. She is about 3 years younger than me and my mum treated her like my sister. My mum even bought her tickets to visit her family and also a lot of stuff that she had never seen before. When it was the day for her to come back, she did not turn up. My my was half disappointed and half furious. The past maid we had either ran away or steal stuff from the house. So this time, my mum said that she can no longer trust them and make everyone in the house to do their part. Its frustrating to see my mum kept yelling at my younger siblings to do this or that. I have no idea how to make them to take initiative. Sigh..

Everytime when i'm back here, i hate it when my parents ask me to watch the stores. It is hot, boring and the street is always blasting indian songs. That's what i used to think. :)
Its weird now that i dont really feel the hatred as much as i used to. Maybe it is because my mind is now broaden a little. I start to help out at the store since i was 8. Sitting on a counter chair watching over the cashier, organizing invoices and filing statements. Just by mentioning the store, i would rather sleep another 30 minutes or pretend to be sick. It's funny to recall all the absurb reasons i gave to avoid helping out at the store. I always know that other than my grandpa is supporting my tuition fee, the store is also the main income for my family. But.... its weird that i finally voluntarily help out at the store.

So every year when i'm back in Malaysia, i would plan lotsa outings with my friends. I was always trying to get out from the house and avoid going to the store. My parent were a little taken aback when i helped out at home and the store "willingly". Haha.. its funny watching their reactions!
But ... that reaction only last a week or two. I hate it when my mum always bring up Tzu Chi when i'm not doing something right. Like when my table is messy, she will freaking say "is this what tzu chi teaches you? Did tzu chi teach you to be messy?" Wtf comment is that. It is annoying that she is always expecting too much from me. It is like the bar is always raised when i finally touches it.
Here's a picture of the store.
